Born in Tasmania and has aboriginal ancestry, she moved permanently to New Zealand in her 20's and has been sculpting since 1999.She works fulltime as a sculptor and tutor from her studio/gallery at York Street ,Timaru. Debbie predominantly exhibits in the south Canterbury region, but also in Italy where in 2004 she attended a resident sculpture course working with marble and alabaster.Debbie's unique sculptures grace homes around the world and she has done numerous commissions.
